Yellow Bins - Skip Bin Hire Terms & Conditions Thank you for choosing Yellow Bins! We aim to provide a smooth and hassle-free experience.

By ordering a skip bin from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Booking Confirmation

Your order is confirmed once you have placed it with us. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

 

2. Weight Allowance & Extra Charges

Each skip bin includes a set weight allowance, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process. If the weight exceeds the allowance, an additional charge of:

$0.40 per kg General Waste.

$0.30 per kg Conditional Waste.

$0.08 per kg Green Waste.

$0.02 per kg Clean fill.

 

We will contact you after the collection to arrange payment, including the excess weight.

 

3. Placement of Bins

Skip bins must be placed on private property. Please talk to us if you are considering placement on the roadside or footpath.

 

4. Access Requirements

To ensure smooth delivery and collection, we require a minimum access width suitable for a medium-sized truck.

 

5. Moving the Bin

The skip bin must remain in its original location. If you need it moved, please contact us.

 

6. Delivery & Collection

• We deliver and collect bins between 6 AM and 6 PM on scheduled days.

• While we strive to be on time, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. A late delivery does not entitle a cancellation.

 

7. Ownership & Collection Rights

• The skip bin remains the property of Yellow Bins at all times.

• A Yellow Bins representative has the right to access your property to collect the skip bin at the end of the hire period.

 

8. Photo & Video Rights

We reserve the right to take photos and videos of the skip bin at the delivery location for documentation and operational purposes.

 

9. Loading Guidelines

• Bins must not be overloaded. Waste should be level with the top edges to ensure safe transport.

• Contents must be arranged to prevent anything from falling out during transport.

 

10. Prohibited Waste Items

For the safety of our team and the environment, the following items are not allowed in our bins:

• Unbagged polystyrene or insulation batts (these must be securely bagged before disposal).

• Hazardous materials, including asbestos, gas bottles, flammable/explosive items, car batteries, paints, and liquids.

• Tyres and any other restricted waste. If you’re unsure about an item, please contact us before placing it in the bin.

11. Cleanfill Guidelines

Cleanfill bins are strictly for materials such as concrete, bricks, rocks, asphalt, clay, sand, dirt, and ceramic tiles. If any other waste is found in a cleanfill bin, general waste and weight charges will apply.

 

12. Charges & Payments

The following charges apply:

• Agreed hire fee plus overweight charges if necessary, paid when the order has been fulfilled.

• Additional charges for extra days apply.

 

13. Liability

Yellow Bins is not responsible for any damage or incidents related to the skip bin while in the hirer’s possession.
